Family law for English-speaking families

Family matters are personal, and they move more smoothly when you fully understand the process. We guide couples and parents through separation, divorce and agreements in Israel, including families whose lives span Israel and the United States.

Separation guidance

Before anything is filed, we help you understand your options and the likely path of each. Where possible, we work toward a negotiated agreement that spares everyone a long court process.

Divorce agreements

We draft and negotiate agreements covering division of property, child support (mezonot) and parenting arrangements, and take them through court approval.

Family Court and rabbinical court

In Israel, which court hears your case matters. We explain how the Family Court and the rabbinical court divide the issues, and what that means for timing and strategy in your case.

Prenuptial and cohabitation agreements

A property agreement (heskem mamon) gives couples certainty. We draft agreements for couples before and during marriage and for couples living together, including the approval process needed to make them binding in Israel.

Families between Israel and the U.S.

Relocation, property in both countries, and documents and agreements made in one country that need to work in the other. We coordinate with counsel abroad when a matter crosses the ocean.
